My Fifteen Minutes

On October 23, 2006, the New York Times published an article in which I was quoted and above which appeared a picture of me and a co-worker. The Wall Street Journal happened to blog about the NYT article on its law blog. The blog entry included two links to my personal website (one of which is now a dead link, due to a reorg of my site), which ordinarily receives basically no traffic.

Here's what the traffic on my site looked like on a daily basis for the week leading up to and including October 23:

It looks like about two-thirds of that came via the WSJ law blog, about 15% via Google searches after reading the article, maybe another 5% or so via other sources related to the article, with the rest being unrelated to the article.
